My speaker is not workin what should I do?

I had this problem 2 months ago. I found, serching the Internet, that this is caused from a bad contact of the speaker.

The following solution worked for me:

I removed the battery and I used a small piece of black insulating tape to "glue" the bottom of the laudspeaker (which is closer to the battery) to the phone case beneath the battery. If you use a large piece of tape the speaker may be covered and you will hear nothing.

It's so simple and you can try it.

If you are quite certain that there isn't moisture damage to the phone, this problem mostly occurs because the coils on the loud speaker aren't connecting properly to the cores on the circuit board.

There is a more permanent solution. Due note: Inspect for any form of corrosion or moisture damage while you have this part of the phone open.

• If you can manage to removed the housing directly beneath the battery, you will find the loud speaker is attached to it.
• The two coils on the speaker tend to retract over time.
• Take proper tweezers and gently stretch out each coil.
• Reassemble the phone and test.

This normally does the job on this specific model.
