How do I replace headband cushion?

I bought a replacement factory original headband cushion, but have no idea how to replace it. Some disassembly of the metal headband from the L or R swivel connection will be necessary, in order to slip on the new cushion, but I cannot find any diagrams or videos on how to do this.
