Broken screen mirror effect

Hi,

Basically my samsung tv's screen is messed up, there is like some sort of mirror to everything that's fainter than the original screen so I basically cant see anything. Is there a setting that fixes this or can I do anything at all to fix it? The screen is a Samsung htv; model number: LA40D550 40 Series 5 LCD
