upgrade ram and ssd hard drive
is possible to upgrade the ram and the hard drive to an acer chromebook 14?
at example how may slots of ram it has? and if is possible to change, what type of ssd is required?

This page (see link below) has a lot of chromebook specs but the editor has given up on trying to keep it up to date (especially concerning upgradeability of of ram and storage) as models proliferated over time.

Consumers should read this and thoroughly research BEFORE they buy any chromebook especially ram capacity and/or upgradeability if they plan on heavy use of tabs etc. If a chromebook has an sd card slot it is less important that it have upgradeable hard store space. It seems that the manufacturers including google branded devices are trending toward less upgradeability as time goes on … let the buyer beware!

This was useless and in no way would help him.
I don’t know about RAM, but you CAN upgrade the SSD. Transcend, ZTC and MyDigital are popular brands. MyDigital had some issues with drives failing some time ago, however this appears to be less of a concern now.

I think both ssd and ram are NOT upgradeable :(
