How would you fix a tablet that goes off and back on

How would i get my tablet from going off and then back on keeps doing it over and over again and how would i fix a tablet that its back ground it does not show you what you got on it and the cord for the speaker it is not in where it should e where you can hear the sound and how do you rest or set for another password
