Why did Windows 10 crash my laptop?

I upgraded to Windows 10 a few weeks ago and my machine gradually took longer and longer to boot up each morning until it stopped working. I took it to Office Depot to get fixed and they couldn't help me. Now it is constantly on the main screen saying auto repairs for days. Any ideas on how I can get my PC back to Normal?

Hi Aimee,

Please check out some methods that may work to your problem.

Method 1: Disconnect all the external devices (except mouse and Keyboard ) and then check if the Black screen disappears.

Method 2: Enable the on board graphics device/Intergrated peripherial device from BIOS(Basic Input Output Device) and check.

Warning: Be careful when changing BIOS settings. The BIOS interface is designed for advanced users, and it's possible to change a setting that could prevent your computer from starting correctly. Updating BIOS should only be done if necessary (to solve a compatibility problem, for example). It can be a complicated process, and if an error occurs, your computer could be rendered inoperable. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions exactly.

If none of these methods works, please read the article and see if there’s any solution.

In case of future problem to your Windows, I suggest you to do a system backup with ShadowMaker or the built-in backup utilities in Windows.

Hope this information is helpful. Thank you!
