The usb port (the part inside the printer) is broken and came out of the printer. The cable itself is fine, but the port is disconnected from the printer.
To clarify, do you mean the USB port is disconnected from the printer housing, and just hanging loose but still usable, or has it disconnected completely as in "come unplugged?" Either way, how keen are you on cracking the shell of the printer?
The USB port is disconnected completely. I don't think its necessarily something I would be able to fix myself, but are there any estimates as to how much it would cost to get it repaired by a professional?
