My GO START 20 NOT RECOGNISED BY COMPUTER

Have a Go Start 20 13months old - have downloaded MYDRIVE CONNECT but when I try to add device computer does not recognise device. Have rebooted computer, have reset device and still the system does not recognise TomTom . I bought the TomTom with free lifetime maps. When I check Control Panel Device Manager choosuing Network Device no options given for Tom Tom- is this a con so that you buy a new TomTom each year ?

Hi,

Being a bit pedantic. Have you installed My drive Connect on your PC, you only say downloaded? Are you using the supplied USB cable or a different one? Have you tried a different USB port on your PC?

Here is a link to the User Guide for your Tom Tom device. Scroll to p.95-96 to verify that you have completed the setup and connection procedure correctly.
