Screen not coming on

Kindle Fire HD 2013

Amazonから発売されたKindle Fire HD 7インチの2013年モデルです。この新Kindleモデルの比較的安価なラインです。HDXと比べると低解像度で、2012年モデルに搭載されていたカメラは付いていません。発売は2013年10月2日です。

The screen is black and a voice is saying swipe left to..., portrait or landscape...

etc. Have never had the voice before, nor have I ever had a black screen. Have tried hard reboot to no success.

オプション

Hold the button for a full count of 30 seconds, and it should reboot. be sure to have a full charge.
