My display keeps flickering and has lines going across it
There are black lines going across my screen and it flickers occasionally while I use it. They are still there even after restarting the computer.

@jayohessatch this can be caused by multiple issues. First you want to make sure that you have the proper display driver. For that check Dell's website and download the appropriate driver. If that does not repair it, attach an external monitor and see if it displays the same lines. If so, you are having issues with your video circuitry on ther motherboard. You could try a reflow to resolve those or replace the board. If an external monitor shows everything correctly, check the LCD connector on your board as well as the panel itself. If that looks good, consider replacing the LCD panel.
