Does Dell Inspiron N-5050 support 4GB DDR3 12800-CL11 (1600) ,RAM, while there was already a 4GB DDR3 10600-CL9 (1333) RAM attached with the laptop...?
Does the difference frequency level of two ram affect anything....??????

Hi,
According to the specifications the laptop only supports a maximum frequency DDR3 10600 (1333MHz) RAM.
The maximum supported RAM is 4GB. As there are two memory slots it can either be configured as
1 x 4GB or 2 x 2GB.
If you use both slots to achieve the maximum of 4GB then the RAM will always operate at the lower frequency if the modules are of different frequencies and are at or below the maximum supported frequency.
You cannot increase the RAM to 8GB because it is not supported by the BIOS.

Could you verify that the model you are asking about is a Dell Inspiron N-5050?
Unfortunately the Dell website support link for the specifications for this model is broken. However the three following websites all specify that the memory is 4GB.

Here is a link to the service manual for a N5050 which shows how to change the modules, but it gives no details as to the speed or capacity.

My Inspiron N5050 is running with 2 Slots of 8GB RAM, which makes a total of 16 GB of RAM.
