Is the battery of the iPhone SE compatible with the one of the iPhone 5c?

Nope. Besides, even 5S and 5C batteries should not be interchanged. You'd have issues.
As for iPhone 5S, many things are interchangeable with the SE except (for sure for now) the battery and the back camera.

what issues should i have phone 5c and 5s have a 3 pin connector on the battery. and if the battery of the se has also a 3 pin connector it should work the only difference is the capacity and more capacity means the phone lasts longer before i have to recharge it
It's not that simple. So to put it simply: the iPhone battery tells the phone a bunch of info about its status. But the 5C and the 5S "speak a different language." Thus if you put a 5C battery in a 5S, the phone will have a hard time interpreting them or will interpret them wrongly and misbehave.
That's uh, that's not true there buddy. I put my 5C battery in my 5S and it worked great for a year, until I sold it
But the connector looks a little bit differed between 5c and 5s

But how can you put the batteries in different iPhones if the connectors don’t match ? I ordered the wrong parts n can’t get them to attach

The only iPhones that have had the same battery connector are the 5C and 5S.
In the early days it was acceptable to use vice versa batteries for these two but now I do not recommend as you will have issues

I am not certified, and don't know crap about phones, but I will say that you should listen to the advice of NOT swapping batteries!!! My wife and I have a 5c that her family gave to her after they upgraded and had the battery in the 5c changed since it had died. We took pristine care of that phone until one day it randomly shut off. Sad, we put it in a drawer, and forgot about it. Until I went looking for God knows what one day and saw the iphone bulging out to kingdom come!! Found out it had a 5S battery installed… The ridiculous part is that they say they had Apple replace it, so either their Apple store is stocked with retards, or her family is lying to her because I wanted to switch a broken screen in one of the other phones they let her use when the screen got busted when she dropped it (why we took pristine care of the 5c), and they don't want me to cause they… think I can't read instructions and follow them..?
I may be a technological moron, but I did manage to take apart two destroyed 2 in 1 tablets and make one whole working one (one shut down randomly, the other had a hammer taken to it= busted screen). I think I'm capable of merely switching parts, obviously! New technology just takes patience as it's very fragile, and most people don't have that…

I asked in a tech forum the same question. all Experts mean that an Lithium ion battery tells nothing to the phone a 3 pin connector tell just the temprature and nothing else the other two Pins are plus and minus

I think there bord the give the battery the connection it needs below the tape and I believe you could desoder the bord the give the connecter and resoder the old bord to new battery I not sure it would work but I think it would work fine
