Why is my GPS touchscreen not responding when I type?

There is a few second lag when I go to type in my destination on the GPS. I have turned the device off and on again, but that didn't help. Why is the screen not responding?

Hi,

Suggest that you see if there is still a problem after you have changed the battery.

Make sure that the drivers for the device are properly updated. If the problem persists after this, consider replacing the touch screen with a new one.
