I think I fried my phone

I cant get my phone to power on or charge ever since I hooked it up directly to my 12 volt battery and was wondering if its just a battery or the phone and is it worth fixing?

Well.. With those phones you can just plug it into your wall charger, and it should work, without the battery. What did you do while hooking it up to a 12 v battery, and why?
