Can't open the Memo's app

Been having problems syncing with laptop, was using XP. Sync stops at calendar and never completes. After several try's with XP, 7 & 8.1, still can't open Memos. All other apps are fine. thx.

Also, when I try to open the Memos app, it soft boots.
