Video is not working or is sporadic.

Computer video is working sporadically or most of the time not at all. I think it needs a video card. What can I purchase for this machine.

Update (11/18/2015)

This might help.

Charles Schimmel there are a few different motherboard options for this model. It most likely take a PCI card but we would need a picture of the motherboard to verify the slots. Keep in mind that you have most likely an integrated video card. When you switch video cards you also need to watch the power consumption. Check your PSU and make sure that it has at least 300W, A card like this should be compatible.

take care to check the system requirements for this old machine and yes oldturkey03 is right that this will require a PCI card and it looks like it needs to be a thin one not much room there
