unable to power up the laptop

My laptop occasionally shutdown. I dissembled my computer and saw a cylindrical electronic element fell off from the main board. After I welded it back, I still can't power up my computer. The indication light on the side did not light up when it is connected to the AC. There is a small tickling sound coming from somewhere near the fallen electronic element. Do anyone know how to fix it?
