Why won’t my laptop turn on?

I keep trying to turn my laptop on but it's not working. I pulled it in to charge it to see if that was the problem but still nothing.

I even checked a harddrive and i did put it in but it still did not work, when i turned it on the screen was just black and there was no sign of action after i put in the harddrive?!?!

This happened to me too. At first, I thought that my laptop just died and needed to be charged. When that did not work I got a new battery and after replacing that it turned on right away.
