SIM tray stuck inside. How to take out it?

Hello.

I put a microsim with SIM adapter in my old iPhone 2 and now it's impossible to take it out.

The tray is stuck inside. I have tried to pull it with a papelclip but it only moves one milimeter out.

I've thought about disassemble the phone but all the videos and manuals I've seen tell that there is necessary to remove the SIM tray to extract the rear case :(

Does anybody know if there is possible to disassembly the phone with the SIM tray inside? Any idea about how can I solve my problem?

You will need to dissemble the phone, definitely. If you follow the guide: iPhone 1st Generation Communications Board Replacement you should be able to get at the tray by step 24.

Just make sure you are careful and don't force any parts :)

I've already view this manual, but the question is:

Is there possible to remove the rear case with the sim tray inside? Due to the manual, I have to remove the sim tray in the first step...

sorry yes, i overlooked that, you will still be able to disassemble the phone without removing the sim tray :)

you may find that when prying the phone open that the SIM tray is in the way, but this should actually be the point where you can get inside and unlatch it.

I've bought the thin plastic tool to open de iPhone. When I receive it I'll try to open it.
