How to "recombine" a volume to the main hard drive?

Hey everybody!

I tried to install window on my mac a long time ago and I messed up in the process. Now I have this "untitled" volume that's taking 100gb of space and I can't use it. I tried to use bootcamp to fix it (like someone suggested on the apple forums) but i dont know how to do it!

Please help!

If you used Bootcamp to install windows, Bootcamp will walk you through the whole thing. Go through the process like you're installing windows, but instead of adding a partition, there is an option to remove a partition. It will work non-destructively so your data will be safe.

Put it into Target mode using another Mac. Use Disk Utility (preferably from 10.10.5 or earlier), and erase the drive. Then boot it up holding down the option key, (have a internet connection available). Do a net install after reformatting the drive. This will take it back to the original system. If you have a Time Machine backup, you can restore or just use Migration Assistant.
