How can I remove the Glass Screen from my All-in-One?

Hi guys,

Due to a faulty hard drive, we have recently replaced an Asus ET2220I All In One machine with a more conventional PC setup.. Because only one component of the All in One was faulty, I have decided to disassemble it and attempt to put the rest of the components to good use.

I have separated everything from the system, except for the glass pane & digitiser. This seems to be glued in some way or another to the bottom half of the plastic enclosure that holds the entire system.

I need to remove this, as I would like to build an interactive coffee table. However, there does not appear to be an obvious way to separate the two. Please find below some pictures of the components in question... I'd really appreciate any advice you may have on getting this job done! :)

Let me know if further details are required, happy to give any info needed to get the job done!!

The digitizer pane is held to the plastic frame by 1cm strips of tacky glue/tape. Use a heat gun on the glass side to soften the glue. Use a box cutter blade to separate the glass from the plastic. I have the same computer that was dropped and shattered the screen. Now it has no touchscreen but still usable.

Must be a ASUS All-in-One. I turned over my PC ad it struck a plastic stamp and cranked all over..guess what? ASUS is Chinese so only China has the screens and will not sell to them you but will repair for 5-600 dollars. Chinese humor I nguess..
