Swapping chassis for newer model
I have a fully functional MacBook pro 5.3 mid 2009 with 2.66GHz processor. It has a cracked LCD glass (LCD is OK), broken hinge mounts (hinges detached from LCD cover) and 2 bent corners. I would like to swap all internals to a newer 2010 or 2011 "chassis" which are available on eBay. Is this possible to do and pretty straightforward or is there anything different in the newer units like screw mounting locations and such?
