the left side of my htc sensation xl wont respond to the touch of my finger. not sure what to do and im considering getting a new phone or just getting this on fixed. it might be because it is smashed so much. do i get a new phone or try and get this on fixed?

Looks like it's a hardware issue of faulty touchscreen. Certainly, getting a replacement is much cheaper than upgrading to a new phone. If you have used your sensational xl for years, maybe upgrade to a new one would be more tempting.
