Pink iPhone 5c 16gb screen after repairs?

We had someone ask us to look at an missing aux port, we opened it up to see what was going on, didn't replace anything and reassembled. Now the screen is darker and has a pink tint to it. The lady text me this morning as says it's getting worse and has blue and grey tint as well. I haven't seen it yet to verify the worsened effects but nothing was done inside the phone? Any ideas what happened or how to correct?
