Can I re-attach a front facing camera to the logic board?

I made the mistake of completely removing the front facing camera from the logic board. I later found out the camera was cracked anyway, but nonetheless, I would like to fix it with a replacement. Can I re-attach a new front facing camera to the logic board I have?
