Could changing the GPU fix the issue?

LED 1 is on when I connect a power cable. When I turn on the iMac, LED 2 lights, then LED 3. But LED 4 never lights up and the screen is black. Does this mean that the GPU is damaged and not sending a signal? Could changing the GPU fix the issue?

The last 4 digits are 5DNN

I thought this only applied to 2011 iMac? According to this page: http://9to5mac.com/2013/08/16/apple-open...

Where can the problem be since I know you have wrote before that LED 4 must light up on startup signaling that a video signal is present. So there is no video signal? Can the problem be on the logic board and not the GPU? I read some here with the same problem replacing both GPU and backlight module but that did not help the black screen.
