Is there anyway to do a hard reset?
My laptop has a virus but I can't reset it because my son deleted my recover files and the Internet on the darn thing doesn't work is it just useless or is there something I can do?

You can order recovery media for your from the HP Pavilion g7-2275dx Notebook PC product page.
Choose Software and Drivers
Then Option 2: Go directly to the software and driver results
There will be an option to Order Media/Recovery DVD/USB.
Select the operating system that came installed on your notebook and it will provide you with the order form to purchase the recovery media.

im sorry but I don't have the money to buy a dvd to recovery I was praying that I could download something

What version of Windows is installed on your laptop? If you can not order a recovery CD, I can provide instructions that may help assist you in removing the virus.
