If you are still under warranty, you can contact Fitbit and they will send you a new one. My wife had the same problem, and they are shipping her a new one.
Hello Sid contact Fitbit Support or initiate a chat session and make sure your device is in warranty and that you know when where you purchased your device from and that should do it and your replacement device will be in the post. as this worked for me today.

My wife lost the button too. But one-year warranty expired. Now what? she's has a button less fitbit charge hr.
I'm so glad the Fitbit supported your issue with the button cover. Any time I have had a problem they have been completely not helpful.
There are a lot of people complaining about this issue, why can't they just send you a replacement cover?
Planned obsolescence, I'll be looking at other devices before I spend anymore money with Fitbit.
And that's too bad because I really love my HR.
the same. button lost after 4 weeks. fitbit replied but refused to help as my one (new sealed) was bought on ebay. I will not be back to fitbit any more. What's the point to buy a tracker which breaks down after a month.
