Why has my screen gone weird

The corner of the screen looks like it's cracked. The screen looks like black ink as run. Half the screen has turned white with different coloured lines running down the centre.

Yeah, It's cracked. Time to replace. Hope it is a standard size (15.4" or a 15.6") so you can find really affordable replacement screens.
