Trying to locate a new Zi8 LCD screen
does anyone have suggestions for a broken LCD screen? Kodak wanted $90 to fix mine. Can anyone help me with wher I can buy a new LCD screen? I can't seem to find one.

Not an easy find. I have searched in a few locations and found tons of these cameras and thousands of accessories, but no parts. I would suggest you go on ebay and bid on a used one.

my local Kodak here in Finland says they will replace the entire camera (in the box w/instruction booklet wrapped in plastic) for 40€/$58.00 with or without the guarantee.
Also I am not sure what is the source of those replacement LED´s because with every probable markup including s/h.... retail couldn´´t possibly be more than $11.00.
I know which route I am taking

thx! i actually did and got a refurbished one for very cheap, it works well so I have been using that one instead...it just sucks now bc I still have a perectly good camera that I can't use!

Yeah, but now u have an extra one around should you need to replace other parts and an extra battery.
