I have a 07 chevy equinox and the stabilitytrak light came on as my brakes started to lock up. Does anyone know what can be wrong. I have changed the booster and the master cylinder and yet the brakes are still locking up.

in both cases Antonio and funkybob this is a symptom of a bad abs pump. You may or may not get an abs light as the pump can be working enough to register but not enough to work properly. Hyundia are bad with there abs systems and there traction control . Chevs have a better system but when the stability control starts acting up on them the first place i look is at the abs pump. Hope this helps

Thanks Jim but I do not have ABS or traction control.
funkybob does your car have esc light on the dash when you turn on the ignition and all the lights come on just before it starts?
It does have and for sure sounds wheel sensor on equinox
how big a deal and how expensive is it to check out the abs pump?

I have the same problem Elantra 2004. I have replaced 2 calipers, brake line hoses and the master cylinder. Flushed the system twice. Yet my front brakes are still locking up. The power booster has no leaks and the pedal does not sink . What else is there?

I do not have ABS or traction control. I am at my wits end.

You do have abs and wheel sensors don't known that don't touch car

Tengo una Equinox 2007 y me pasaba lo mismo, despues de cambiar discos, pastillas y mordazas y todo seguia igual, cambie las mangueras que van a las mordazas, ya que estas estaban parcialmente obstruidas
