1 Can a 30GB iPod Video accept a Dual Platter Hard Drive?
Just curious..
30GB iPod Videos come with a logic board that has 32MB RAM and they have single platter hard drives.
The 60GB and 80GB come with a logic board that has 64MB RAM and have dual platter (fatter) hard drives.
Just to try it, put a 60GB dual platter HD on a 30GB iPod and it would just do a reboot loop and would not load up the OS.
