Screen has several wide and narrow lines running through it
Several light to dark lines running through the screen after start up. Faded color between them. Tried pulling the battery/rebooting but no luck. Any ideas?

B Noyes, not seeing what you see and just from your description, it does sound like a bad LCD. You do want to make sure that your cables are properly seated etc., but ultimately it sounds like a bad LCD to me. Hope this helps, good luck.

There's a connection issue with the tiny pins that connect your LCD to your motherboard.
From experience, try to determine if you need a new motheboard or LCD if you can before you start buying replacement parts.
