If devise is far from reuter get poor wifi signal

If I am close from the reuter (modem) let´s say at 2 inches I have a great wi-fi signal. But if the devise is at 5 to 6 foot from the reuter I loose all wi-fi signal.

this problem started few days ago. I have been over 1 year with my tablet without problems until now.

is there any way to resolve this issue??
