Headphone jack static and weak connection on LG Optimus Showtime?

How can i fix my Lg Optimus Showtime Android phone Headphone Jack? It has lots of static and changes songs,pauses them,and looses sound with cracking and popping. I really need help to fix this issue as i simply cannot afford to buy another phone.
