How can I repair my phone after backing over it?

My phone still works, but, there is a certain area on the screen that will not recieve or accept my touch. So therefore I can not use it to it's capabilities that I onced used to. The board or screen may be damaged some how, but, the screen is not cracked or shows any damage.
