How do I reconnect the touchscreen to the keyboard?

I dropped my phone on the floor four screws came off. My phone still worked so i didn't do anything about it, then it dropped again. This time the whole screen came off. Now it's in two pieces, the screen and the keyboard. The cable to connect the two together is still attached to the slide touch screen. Is their any way i can fix it myself or do i have to take it and get replaced??
