Any way to replace or repair a clip for the display cable?

I replaced the battery in my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 N8013, and when I was reconnecting the cables, the clip holding the display cable broke. What do I have to do to replace the clip? Right now I used scotch tape to sort of hold it in place. It works, but since I had a hard time removing the back several times, I haven't put the back on yet. I really don't think I needed a battery, a new charging cord would have solved my problem. But the tech I chatted with for almost 2 hrs never suggested a new cord.
