Why does my nook immediately die when its unplugged?
My Nook works fine until it's unplugged from it's power source, then it immediately goes black (or dead I assume) Could this be a battery issue?

Freddy, most certainly sounds like a battery issue. Use this guide to replace the battery. there is always the potential that is is something different and usually more complicated, but changing the battery is definitely the right thing. Hope this helps, good luck.
