No signal after changing charging port

After changing my charging port because it had water damage and would not charge I booted my phone up and now I can not hold a signal at all. I use to get full bars of LTE and now I get nothing (sometimes I do get some LTE or 3g but once I leave that tower it's back to nothing). My white antenna cable looks a little frayed towards the top end so I ordered a new one off of ebay but outside of that what could be my problem? Any help would be appreciated.
