I am unable to charge the phone
The connecting pin inside the phone charging port is broken so I am unable to connect the charging cable to the phone to charge it. Can this be repaired?

John flint, seems to be somewhat common. The charging port is soldered onto the logic board. Here is a good video on how to disassemble your phone. Then you will have to desolder the port from the logic board. Not an easy task since it has small contacts. You'll need some good skills and good equipment. the port is available at places like this. If you have never soldered on a logic board or if you do not have the tools, I would just have somebody do it for you. Not a complicated repair for somebody with experience.
