So I bought an iPhone 5 on ebay it only had a battery fault.
Replaced the battery it turns on and works fine except the microphone wont work the bottom microphone.
I have replaced the part but it still doesn't work anyone got any suggestions?

It could be a faulty part you installed ..
If you could try a working known part then you would no if it's a problem with the motherboard

No problem keep us updated would like to no the out come
I've decided to jump the gun and get it repaired by a technician tomorrow its only costing me £40 so its not to much of a bother, but it would have been nice to do it myself really.
So far I bought the phone with a faulty battery at £170 + £8 fr replacement battery and then £40 for a diagnostics check and new mic. Not bad for a refurbished phone at £228 which I could easily sell for £320
Ill let you know if he fixes and ask him what the problem was
