Just changed a faulty flex because of a mic not working however now the home button isn't working.
I've gone back in and stripped it and cant see any damage or issues.
Can't hard reset because the home button doesn't work.
Any thoughts or help?

if you connect the 2 golden sprongs on the dock connector, does the phone think the home button is being pressed? if so, try bending the sprongs up, if it still doesn't work. try replacing the home button flex

Thankfully I had a spare button replaced that and prised the golden connectors near the flex. All working again, thank goodness thought the thing had out smarted me!
