Why do my iBook freez up?
I held down the shift key unit boot up I hear fan wish then silent but before I set the clock it freez. what is the cure for this? and how what td to make com on w/o holding down that key thank you naikentv@aol.com

Start up from your installation disk by holding down the "C" key. On the second screen go to Utilities - Disk Utility and if you can see the drive try to repair it. If you can't see the drive you will need to replace it. Please give us the exact iBook model you have and we will direct you to the correct installation guide.
