Will not change orientation?

Hi, I accidentally dropped my pad and anything still works except that it will not change from portriat to landscape when I turn the pad sideways. The rotation lock is not on. I can open it but I do not see anything loose or disconnected. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

ok in my frustration I repeatedly tapped the touchpad on every side while holding it perpendicular to my leg and some how it started working again. I don't know how but I am happy.
