Here is a video of someone replacing the rubber gasket (without doing an entire LCD removal).

So it is doable, but if anyone has successfully completed this process and has any tips or tricks that would be greatly appreciated.

Also does anybody know what tool is being used in the video to push the rubber gasket into place along the edges of the screen?
