@danj  Hi,

I have this problem. My Fusion Drive on Mac Mini Late 2012 is failing. I have S.M.A.R.T. errors on Apple SSD disk.

So I have decided to upgrade to an 1TB SSD Samsung 860 QVO. But, I have many errors. I can't restore from TimeMachine and I can't reinstall from internet. On reboot I have crash.

So can you give any help? It seems that my Mac Mini is searching for 2HD (Fusion) and not only one... so gives me errors. Is there a solution?
