Wi-fi fails to connect
The Wi-fi is not being connected to the laptop.
Device is on the airplane mode or Wi-fi turned off:
Go to the Wi-Fi settings to check if the Wi-Fi on the settings is turned on the device. You can also check if the airplane mode on your device is turned on.
The Router is down:
Router might be an issue if the WIFI is not being connected to the internet. Check if the connections on the router are down.
Laptop too far from the router:
It is hard for a router to connect with the device if the router is too far from the device. We have to make sure that the laptop is near the router and able to get the connections to the laptop from the router.
Touchpad fails to work.
The touchpad on the laptop is not working.
Update the touchpad driver:
Click the start menu. Go to settings and select Devices or Bluetooth and devices. Select Touchpad and check your settings. Note: If you use an external mouse this might disable your touchpad. Make sure the touchpad is on.
Reinstall the touchpad drivers:
If you already have the touchpad driver installed into your laptop then you can uninstall the driver and reinstall it in order to get a newer version.
Accidently disabled the touchpad:
Check if you accidentally disabled the touchpad. Press and hold the Fn key and the F5 key simultaneously to unlock or lock the touchpad
Laptop Shuts down often.
Laptop randomly crashes between memory intensive tasks. Turns off suddenly with no warning and will not boot up.
Not enough RAM:
Click start. Click the settings menu. Select systems. Go to about the right side check under installed RAM. If nothing shows there is an issue with RAM. You might have to replace RAM.
Memory resources is exhausted:
When at least one application or process needs more memory then a container host can supply. Click the start menu. Type windows memory diagnostics. Click restart now and check for problems (make sure to save all work before restarting).
Faulty Hardware:
If there is a minor hardware problem this can trigger a shutdown.
Go to the search bar and type “Device Manager” There should be a list of hardware your laptop uses. The main components that must work are RAM,CPU, Motherboard, disk drive, camera, keyboard, and processor. You should see the device status as “ this device is working properly” If not there's a hardware issue.
Sound is distorted/not working
The sound can not be heard on the laptop or the headphones.
The Bluetooth is connected to the other device:
There is a chance that your device can accidentally connect to other devices. On the Bluetooth settings check if the Bluetooth is connected to the accurate device, if not then it might be connected to some other device instead of the one you're using.
The headphone are not completely connected:
There is a chance that the headphone cable is not properly inserted in the port. We have to make sure that the headphones are properly connected or inserted to the port on the laptop.
The volume might be low:
There is a chance that the volume on the device might be low or turned off while listening to the music. We have to make sure to look at the volume settings on the laptop and check if the volume is completely turned on in order to hear the volume
Adapter is not working.
The problem might be the charging cable being loose.
Adapter charging ports might be clogged with dirt:
Your charging ports could be clogged with dirt or debris that is keeping it from powering up properly. Make sure the ports are clean, you can also use a bulb syringe to remove and loosen debris.
Faulty Power cable:
Make sure that the power cables are not faulty which might cause the problem for the adapter not being able to properly connect to the laptop. Some of the main causes for faulty power cables are heating of cables, moisture in the insulation or UV exposure.
Adapter is not plugged into a wall outlet:
There is a chance that the adapter is not properly plugged into a wall outlet. Make sure that the adapter is properly connected to the wall outlet in order to get it worked. If it's plugged in partially, it can make it seem like the adapter is not working, but it may not be getting power from the outlet.
