(1) Refer to the first 12 steps of the Dyson DC 14 Motor Replacement guide. (2) You must now remove the knob that selects floor mode. There are two latches, one on the outside (where the line is that points to the current floor mode) and one on the inside (exact opposite of the outside latch). Pop these latches by inserting a flat head screw driver underneath the knob. Once you do, pull off the knob. (3) Now the clutch assembly is free to be removed. Congrats!
