Since this is caled the “Answers Forum”, people expect you to ask a question for them to answer. So, what would you like us to do with that information? If you would like us to give you advice on how to possibly fix your device you should write what is wrong with it and if possible how it happened.
Hi Musti, before trying to attempt a difficult repair like trying to fix the wifi chip, you could see if all the connectors have been seated correctliy during the last repair. It is possible, that the person that swapped your screen forgot to reattach the wifi antenna or accidentally damaged the antenna cable. Those would be easier to fix problems.
if xou just want to access your data you might be in luck, since windows (gaming) laptop seldomly have soldered on storage device. You can open up your Laptop and check whether you have a 2.5” Hard drive / SSD with S-ATA Connector or a “stick” type ssd. Once you have identified which you have you could buy an adapter off amazon or a different retailer of your choosing, connect your drive to it, plug it into USB of a different PC/Laptop and you should be able to access all of your data.
Hey, I haven’t opened a One S yet, but that looks to me like a standard tactile dome power button. You could check pictures of replacement boards to check whether it looks like it does on our board. The picture is a little blurry. The only thing that might be wrong with it that I see could be the power LED. But again: that could be due to the blurryness of the picture
Hi Daniel, Am i correct to assume, that the phone doesn’t do anything, when you try to power it on? In that case it is time to break out the multimeter and start checking voltages. I’m no expert in these matters. I would advice you check out a couple if videos made by jessa jones of ipad rehab. She makes really informative videos on Iphone board repair. Best of Luck! Kingofkeks
Hi Dahcrazychicken, There could be many reasons your Ipod doesn’t charge. Have you tried your charger with a different device or a different charger on the ipod? If your charger works with other devices there could be some dirt, that’s obstructing the contacts on the lightning port. (Happens more often, than you think). To fix that you could try cleaning the port using a toothpick or a similar, non conductive, thin object.
